Studies show participating in before/after school programs helps academic achievement, school attendance and positive behaviors.
The best programs offer thoughtful combinations of services that best suit the particular needs of the community they serve. That’s what Hands 4 Hope LA does!
Our engaged staff, volunteers and instructors create a safe and personalized learning environment to help youth build relationships as they strengthen academic skills and learn new talents. While parents and caregivers are working, Hands4Hope LA works to feel like a home away from home, partnering with families to support student social, emotional and academic needs. Hands4Hope LA seeks to deepen the impact of what we already know, whether a student takes guitar classes, receives tutoring, or plays basketball on our outdoor hoop, the result is the same: our students gain academic and mental health benefits from social interaction, personalized attention, educational support and enrichment classes.
